Business Development Manager  – Open Banking – London - £50-55K basic + OTE
Large FS tech company with huge presence in London requires a talented Business Development Manager to join their Open Banking team. Our technology is transforming the way our clients verify identity, prove income and assess creditworthiness and affordability. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to drive new business sales in a fast expanding market. Reporting to Head of Open Banking Sales, you will be developing new prospects through the entire sales process from first engagement to negotiation and closing
 
Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through outbound sales and inbound enquiries and industry events
  • Deliver client presentations and demos on our market leading Open Banking solution on to maximum effect
  • Negotiate and close new contracts with customers
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting 
  • Work with your peers in the Sales Team in order to drive new clients through pipeline to close
  • Become a subject matter expert on Open Banking
Qualifications
  • You have strong B2B sales experience in software or data; preferably in financial services
  • Great communication skills are essential to ensure full understanding of clients’ objectives and to develop strong relationships
  • You can demonstrate a strong track record of exceeding / meeting revenue targets
  • Ability to manage own workload efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated with ability to work well with others
  • Knowledge of Open Banking
  • Experience of working for a Credit Bureau or Industry reseller
 
This position offers a basic salary up to £55k with an excellent commission scheme and OTE. Location is a mx of home and London City HQ.
