Product Manager – eCommerce - £70k – Manchester
 
A Product Manager is required for a global leader in marketing and communications services and one of the world’s largest creative transformation companies.
 
The Product Manager will have ownership of the product roadmap for an innovative commerce and order management platform that supports all online sales channels, EPOS and manual sales channels.  It also consolidates dispatching with all major couriers and provides customer messaging, supplier ordering, accounts integrations and WMS.
This platform not only supports the internal commerce business, it also provides solutions to hundreds of other businesses.
 
As a Product Manager you will own the vision for the product and work actively with multiple teams to make it come to life!  You will have an infectious passion for your products, partnering with engineering to define, deliver and iterate your products to find creative ways to deliver awesome experiences for our customers.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop the vision, strategy, roadmap
  • Be the champion for your product
  • Own the customer and business value
  • Take accountability for end-to-end delivery
  • Maintain a roadmap
  • Build a highly collaborative relationship with engineering
  • Lead the collaboration with digital designers, other product teams and 3rd parties to launch new product features
  • Support communication and resolution of live product incidents
  • Apply insight, data, research, and engaging with insight to ensure your team are focused on making the biggest difference for customers and the business
  • Monitor relevant industry trends and engage both internal and external teams as appropriate to build shared insight
  • Coordinate and report post-launch evaluation to validate that product work for customers or colleagues as designed and value is delivered.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leading delivery of technology, you have shipped products at scale
  • Extensive experience of product/project/programme management, or relevant ecommerce disciplines experience of leading and developing teams
  • Working knowledge of technology relevant to CAAS understanding of commercial landscape
  • Ability to translate business goals, technology strategy and market knowledge into a product roadmap that prioritises delivery of value and enables future business agility
  • Accountability for the delivery of the roadmaps for your product
  • Ability to switch between strategic visioning and getting into the detail, being the authority in all aspects of your product
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, excellent stakeholder management skills
