Senior Java Developer is required by a top tier, leading e-commerce brand to join their highly talented web engineering team and develop their high volume/demand transaction-based web application. The client is a modern, innovative and incredibly ambitious company who work in a challenging and fast-paced environment who work to very high standards.
The Senior Java developer will provide the highest of quality and dynamic software solutions for their web ticketing platform with responsibilities ranging from developing new. modern features to the current application, to crucial maintenance work, writing code reviews and unit tests as well as mentoring junior developers.
You’ll be a vitally important figure within the software development lifecycle, working closely with product professionals and other scrum team members to turn the new business requirements into physical deliverables that allow the application to perform at its best.
Key requirements:
  • Expert in Java programming
  • Strong experience in AWS cloud technologies
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of Linux infrastructure
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember etc.)
  • Experience Developed Spring (or IOC framework)
  • Microservices architecture
Other requirements:
  • Experience developing high volume, transaction-based applications
  • Strong background in Agile development environments
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Scripting experience (Roby, Perl, Shell etc.)
